What do I need an account for?
We need an account to assign the right version of Noteastic to you. Noteastic Base is the free version, Noteastic Pro is the paid one. Your purchase is bound to your account and your billing is managed through it. Your account is NOT connected to your notes. Your notebooks and folders stay offline on your device, so whoever is logged in sees whatever is stored in Noteastic.
Can I keep using Noteastic for free?
Yes. Noteastic Base is free and stays free. It provides everything you need for handwritten note-taking: inking tools, PDF workflows, paper templates, the library and unlimited notebooks. Noteastic Pro adds more on top, but you never have to pay to keep taking notes. But you do need an account for Noteastic Base as well.
Can I still use Noteastic offline?
Of course! However, if you stay offline for a long time, you may be required to log in again once you connect to the internet.
Does Noteastic have cloud sync now?
No. This is not possible yet, however it is a persisting long-term goal.
What data is collected through the account?
We collect your account's data solely for verification purposes. Any analytics data that is sent from Noteastic is fully anonymous. If you want to get a deeper insight on how we collect and secure data, check out our Privacy Policy.
