Meet the team

Noteastic is a dream come true for us. We started this project 6 years ago in 2020 (yes, that’s 6 years ago) as two naive, but ambitious friends that just graduated secondary school. Our work on Noteastic began because we were disappointed at the note-taking app offerings on our Surface laptops. We were convinced that we can do this better.

Dilan learned to code with Noteastic and Lukas learned to design working on Noteastic. It definitely was not easy to stick to this project as two adolescents going through COVID, their first girlfriends, university, exchange semesters and all other chaotic facets of growing up. But we did. We did not only stick together as friends, but we sticked to Noteastic and made it the software we envisioned.

Then we released Noteastic to the world in February 2025. We were stunned. People all around the globe reached out to us to say “Thank you”. We created an app that finally is a joy to use on Windows. Within the last few months we understood that we want to bring the delight of using Noteastic to more people and further improve Noteastic to become the polished gem it has the potential to be.

This is why we decided to quit everything we are doing and to fully focus on Noteastic. Dilan quit his job and Lukas dropped his other commitments (like his girlfriend) to fully dedicate our time to Noteastic. So here we are. A fully self-developed, self-financed, high quality, independent, community-driven and European software project.
